VPN Share for iPhone
Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 13, 2026
In short: Telvris does not collect, store or transmit any personal data. VPN Share has no accounts, analytics, advertising, tracking or third-party SDKs. The only outside service the app contacts is ipinfo.io, to show which public IP address and country your traffic exits from.
This policy explains how the VPN Share app for iPhone ("the app"), made by Telvris ("we", "us"), handles information.
Information we collect
None. Telvris does not collect, store or transmit any personal data. The app has:
- no accounts or sign-in
- no analytics
- no advertising
- no tracking
- no third-party SDKs
Traffic you share through the app
When your other devices use VPN Share as their proxy, their traffic is handled entirely on your iPhone. It is sent straight to the websites and services they connect to, through your iPhone's network connection and any VPN that is active on it. It is never sent to Telvris.
- The app doesn't log or store browsing content.
- The on-screen activity log shows recent connections (host names and times). It is kept in memory on your iPhone only and is cleared when the app closes.
- Connection and traffic counters, including the connected devices list, are kept in memory only.
Settings stored on your iPhone
Your settings, such as the port, whether a password is required and the username, are stored on your iPhone in the app's preferences. If you set a proxy password, it is stored in the iOS Keychain on your iPhone. None of these settings are sent to Telvris. App preferences are removed when you delete the app.
Exit IP check (ipinfo.io)
To show which public IP address and country your traffic exits from, the app sends a request to the third-party service ipinfo.io. This happens:
- when sharing starts,
- when the network changes while sharing is on, and
- when you tap refresh.
To answer the request, ipinfo.io necessarily sees your iPhone's public IP address. When a VPN is active, this is usually the VPN's IP address. ipinfo.io returns the IP address with its city, country and network or organization, and the app shows this on screen. This information is not sent to Telvris. ipinfo.io's handling of the request is covered by the ipinfo.io privacy policy.
Permissions
Local Network. The app asks for Local Network access so that other devices on your Wi-Fi can connect to your iPhone. You can change this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network.
Crash reports and diagnostics
If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone's settings, Apple may share anonymous crash reports and diagnostics with us. Apple controls this, and it is governed by Apple's privacy policy. The app itself does not collect or send this data.
Children
VPN Share is not directed at children under 13.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for complying with the terms of the networks, VPN providers and services you use with VPN Share.
